Professor Sundeep Sahay holds a Visiting Professorship at the University of Sheffield's School of Information, Journalism and Communication. His primary affiliation is as a Professor at the Department of Informatics, University of Oslo since 2000. He has held academic roles in Canada, the UK, and India. His interdisciplinary background includes degrees from Florida International University (PhD), Birla Institute of Technology and Science (Master's in Management Studies), and additional Master's degrees in Philosophy (Canada) and Public Health (registered at University of Western Cape).

He has authored 250+ publications and advised 25 PhD students.
Prof. Sahay's professional work includes policy advisory roles for WHO, ADB, USAID, and the Indian Ministry of Health. He founded HISP India, a social enterprise strengthening health information systems across South Asia.
