Dr. Anjali Sahay is an Associate Professor and Program Director of Political Science at the School of Public Service and Global Affairs, Gannon University. Her career spans over two decades of academic leadership, including roles as Director of Model UN and President of Faculty Senate. She holds a PhD in International Studies from Old Dominion University and additional Master’s degrees in History and Business Administration.
Research Focus: Dr. Sahay’s work explores International Migration and International Relations, with emphasis on Brain Drain/Gain, Diaspora Studies, and US-India Relations. Her book Indian Diaspora in the United States: Brain Drain or Gain? (2009) remains a seminal work in migration studies.

Teaching Innovation: A recipient of multiple technology and globalization grants, she integrates interactive learning tools (Kahoot, videos) to make political science accessible. Her 2020 election analysis in TIME Magazine and other outlets underscores her public intellectual role.
