Sumesh Sukumara

Sumesh Sukumara is a Senior Researcher at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Biosustainability and the DTU Microbes Initiative at Technical University of Denmark (DTU). He is affiliated with the Sustainable Innovation Office, focusing on interdisciplinary sustainability research.

His research interests center on environmental and economic sustainability assessments of bio-based products, life cycle analysis (LCA), and optimizing bioprocesses for industrial applications. Key areas include bio-based chemicals, circular economy models, and sustainable manufacturing processes.
