Sumeja Bičević

Sumeja Bičević (1987, Sarajevo) is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian Languages, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo. She earned her MA in 2012 after completing studies at the Gazi Husrev Bey madrasa and the Faculty of Philosophy. Her pedagogical experience includes teaching Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian language and literature in elementary schools in Sarajevo.

Recent publications examine phonological patterns in medieval Bosnian elifnicas and compile historical bibliography. Conference topics include medieval charter analysis and reflections on linguistic traditions in Bosnian literature.
