Dr. Erma Ramić-Kunić is a Research Associate at the Institute of Language, University of Sarajevo, affiliated with the Department of Language History. She earned her PhD in Linguistic Bosnian Studies (History of Language) from the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Sarajevo in 2019, following a master's and bachelor's in Bosnian, Croatian, and Serbian languages. Her work focuses on the textual and lexical analysis of medieval Bosnian manuscripts, particularly Church Slavonic biblical translations.

Her research explores the graphological, linguistic, and textological features of Bosnian medieval gospels, including the Čajnik Four Gospels, Dovolje Gospel, and Hvalov Manuscript. She specializes in comparative manuscript analysis, lexical evolution, and the influence of Ohrid and Moravian linguistic traditions on Bosnian texts.
Recent publications examine lexical variants, textual relationships among Bosnian gospels, and Church Slavonic vocabulary in medieval Bosnian literature. She leads projects like "Lexical Variants of the Čajnik Gospel" and "Historical Dictionary of the Bosnian Language".
Dr. Ramić-Kunić actively participates in international conferences on Slavic paleography and Bosnian linguistic heritage, including the International Scientific Colloquium on Bosnian Cyrillic Heritage (2021) and the Third Bosnian-Herzegovinian Slavistic Congress (2021). She serves as a scientific reviewer and contributes to editorial projects like the Medieval Monument of Bosnian Literacy (2021).
She is involved in creating searchable databases of medieval gospel texts and has co-authored catalogs of Bosnian Church Slavonic manuscripts. Her work bridges historical linguistics, textology, and digital humanities to preserve and analyze Bosnia's linguistic heritage.
