Suleimann Nyembwe

Mzee Suleimann Nyembwe holds the Visiting Chair in Anglophone Literary Cultures and Global South Studies at the English Department of the University of Tübingen. Though lacking a formal university degree, he is a renowned custodian of the historical and cultural knowledge of the Digo community in Kenya and has contributed extensively to research and teaching in oral literature over decades.
