Mingqing Yuan

Dr. Mingqing Yuan is a Senior Lecturer at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU), affiliated with the Institute for Near Eastern and East Asian Languages and Civilizations. He is involved in the Elite Master Program 'Standards of Decision-Making Across Cultures' (SDAC). His research focuses on China-Africa and Africa-Asia transcultural studies, the Cultural Cold War, and postcolonial literature. He holds a Ph.D. in Transcultural English Studies from the University of Bayreuth (2022) and has extensive academic experience across institutions in Germany, China, Kenya, and the UK.
