Dr. Samuel Ndogo is a Senior Lecturer and Head of Department at the Department of Literature, Theatre and Film Studies, School of Arts and Social Sciences, Moi University, Kenya. He earned his PhD in African Literature from the Bayreuth International Graduate School of African Studies (BIGSAS), University of Bayreuth, Germany in 2013.

Research Interests
His scholarly work focuses on African autobiographical writings, postcolonial theory, diaspora studies, and the cultural implications of creative industries. He has extensively explored prison narratives, translation practices, and performative arts as tools for social transformation.
His 2017 book Tracks and Traces of Violence examines violence representation across disciplines, while his 2016 monograph Narrating the Self and Nation analyzes Kenyan memoirs as instruments of national identity formation. Academic projects include consultancy work for Germany's BMZ on Kenya's creative industries and collaborations between Moi University and the University of Bayreuth.

Leadership & Contributions
As Head of Department, he leads curriculum development initiatives. He organizes international symposia like the 2018 'Power to the People?' conference on African performative arts and serves as external examiner for multiple universities.
