معرفی
Sui Seng Tee is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine, University of Maryland School of Medicine. His research focuses on the intersection of signaling pathways and cellular metabolism using hyperpolarized magnetic resonance spectroscopy for metabolic imaging and therapeutic applications.
Education
- PhD Biochemistry, University of Cambridge, UK (2011)
- BA (Hons) Natural Science, University of Cambridge, UK (2007)
- Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Stanford University, CA (2014)
- Research Associate, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, NY (2018)
Research Interests
Dr. Tee's work centers on metabolic imaging and signaling networks in disease states, particularly cancer and metabolic disorders. His lab develops hyperpolarized MRI techniques to visualize real-time metabolic flux and investigates fructose metabolism in hepatocellular carcinoma.
Publication trends show strong focus on metabolic reprogramming (2014-2025), hyperpolarized imaging (2014-2016), and signal transduction in cancer metabolism (2017-2019).
Scientific Contributions
- NIH R21CA245492-01A1 (Principal Investigator)
- NIH R21AG084142 (mPI)
- Pioneered hyperpolarized MRI reporter gene technology
