Suhani Jalota is a Hoover Fellow at Stanford University and founder of the Myna Mahila Foundation, a social enterprise focused on women's empowerment in India. She holds a PhD and MBA from Stanford University and a BS in economics and global health from Duke University.

Her research combines development economics, labor economics, and gender studies to examine how technology can expand women's agency in health and employment. Current projects include the Future of Work for Women Initiative and the development of Rani Work, a smartphone-based digital employment platform.
Notable scientific awards include the Knight-Hennessy Scholarship, Forbes 30 under 30 Asia, and recognition as India Today's Top 50 under 50 Most Powerful Women.
