Sue Trumbetta is a Professor of Psychological Science at Vassar College, where she has been affiliated since 1999. Her work bridges clinical psychology, behavioral genetics, and forensic psychology, focusing on adolescent personality and clinical indicators as predictors of long-term life outcomes. She has conducted groundbreaking twin studies on the genetic and environmental influences of marriage and divorce, alongside collaborations on schizophrenia, PTSD, substance use disorders, and HIV risk in severe mental illness populations.
