Sue Gardner

Sue Gardner is a Professor at the University of Iowa College of Nursing and Co-Director of the Center for Advancing Multimorbidity Science (P20) funded by the National Institute of Nursing Research. She earned all her degrees (PhD, MA, BSN) in nursing from the University of Iowa.

• Expertise in genomic analysis of microbial burden and wound pain management

Her recent publications analyze microbial dynamics in diabetic ulcers, cognitive decline mechanisms, and pain prediction models. She has contributed book chapters and developed tools for assessing wound infections and dressing-related pain.
