Dr. Sudhanva Char is a Professor in the College of Graduate and Undergraduate Studies (CGUS) at Life University, where he has served for over 25 years since joining in 1997. Affiliated with both the Business and Nutrition departments, he brings extensive academic experience from his prior position as Professor of Marketing at Clark Atlanta University (formerly Atlanta University) starting in 1986.
His educational background includes a Ph.D. earned in 1978 in India, where he was raised in an academic family with his father as a college professor and multiple brothers as educators. Dr. Char moved to the United States in 1986 to advance his career in higher education, eventually settling at Life University for its personalized educational approach and academic freedom.
Dr. Char's research spans Statistics, Economics, Psychology, and Integrative Healthcare, with particular focus on scientifically validating yoga's health benefits. His work bridges quantitative analysis with holistic practices, examining topics from economic growth frameworks to cardiac intervention efficacy. Notable contributions include interdisciplinary meta-analyses and economic policy assessments.
