Ian Whicher

Ian Whicher is a Professor in the Department of Religion at the University of Manitoba's Faculty of Arts, specializing in the Yoga tradition with a focus on meditation practice and scholarly research. He currently teaches courses including Introduction to Hinduism, Indian Philosophy, Guru and Disciple, The Yoga Tradition, and Advanced Studies in Hinduism while accepting Master's and PhD graduate students.

His educational background includes:
