Suahn Jang Cho

Suahn Jang Cho is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication at the University of Missouri–St. Louis. Her research focuses on normative influences in health communication, behavioral adoption, and communication efficacy in close relationships. She teaches courses in interpersonal communication, social influence, and advanced research methods.

Her research examines how media use, descriptive norms, and self-efficacy shape health behaviors (e.g., breast cancer screening, exercise, alcohol consumption) and relational dynamics (e.g., deception, avoidance).
