Stuart Strange is a Research Fellow in Cultural History and Museology at the University of Oslo (UiO), serving as a Maria Skłodowska-Curie Fellow. He holds an Associate Professorship in Anthropology at the National University of Singapore and Yale-NUS College. Strange completed his PhD in Anthropology at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor (2016). His research focuses on political anthropology and multispecies ethnography, with fieldwork in Suriname, Singapore, Haiti, Sri Lanka, Ghana, and the U.S. Current work explores control ethics in Singaporean religion and wildlife management.
