Stine Bernitz is a Professor at the Department of Nursing and Health Promotion, Faculty of Health Sciences, Oslo Metropolitan University (OsloMet). She is also a researcher at the Women's Clinic, Østfold Hospital. Her academic background includes a doctorate in organization and differentiation of maternity care (University of Tromsø, 2013), a master's and bachelor's in perinatal health (University of Gothenburg, Sweden, 2006-2008), midwifery education (Akershus University College, 1999), and nursing education (Østfold University College, 1994).
