Stina Tolgfors is a Senior Lecturer in Pedagogy at the Department of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences (HumUS) at Örebro University. She holds a Ph.D. from Karlstad University (2021) and specializes in special education with a focus on dialogic pedagogy and inclusive practices. Her research emphasizes special support systems in compulsory schools and the implementation challenges in Swedish educational policies.

Research Interests: Special education policy analysis, dialogic teaching methods, support systems for students with special needs, and the practical challenges of educational reforms. Publications: Her work spans journal articles, conference papers, and a doctoral thesis examining AST diagnoses in schools, dialogic classroom interactions, and special support implementation challenges. Recent research explores the gap between theoretical policy frameworks and practical classroom execution.
