Stewart Frost is a Senior Lecturer in Policing (Practice) at Middlesex University’s Centre for Policing, within the Faculty of Business and Law. He previously served in the Metropolitan Police Service as a Police Officer and PCSO before transitioning to academia. He leads the Graduate Diploma Professional Policing Practice and Detective variants, emphasizing student-centric, innovative education. His research focuses on policing practices, cyberstalking, pandemic impacts on crime, and immersive learning methods for officer development.

Research Interests: Stewart explores policing methodologies, cybercrime response, and the efficacy of simulated training. His work with the National Policing Library and CATS on stalking research aims to enhance law enforcement strategies. Current projects include evaluating tools for stalking responses and pandemic-era crime dynamics.
Publications: His articles analyze cyberstalking during the pandemic, frontline responses to stalking, and tool efficacy in policing. These contributions highlight modern challenges in law enforcement and evidence-based solutions.

Teaching & Partnerships: Stewart collaborates with four Higher Education Institutions and police forces to strengthen officer development. He also serves as an External Examiner for Anglia Ruskin University’s policing apprenticeship programs. His doctoral research evaluates immersive learning in policing education.
Labs/Teams: Active in the Centre for Policing and part of a multi-HEI consortium advancing law enforcement education.
