Dr. Haider al-Khateeb is a lecturer in Cyber Security, Digital Forensics, and Incident Response (DFIR) at the Department of Computer Science and Technology, University of Bedfordshire, and an associate lecturer for Northumbria University (London Campus). He holds a first-class BSc in Computer Science and a PhD in Cyber Security, and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), UK.
Research Interests: His work bridges Cyber Security, Digital Forensics, and multidisciplinary collaboration, focusing on:
- Cyberstalking detection using textual analysis and machine learning
- IoT and cloud-based forensics
- Anonymity networks and steganography
- Human-centric security and social engineering
- Digital evidence preservation for social media harassment
Scientific Contributions: He co-authored a book on cyberstalking with Bedfordshire Police, led Innovate UK-funded projects on cyber security, and contributes to the Police Innovation Fund (Home Office, UK) project Cyberharassment: Platform for Evidence Gathering, Assessing Risk & Managing Policing. His collaborations span psychologists, doctors, national helplines, and law enforcement.
