Dr. Steves Ring is a Clinical Professor and Chair of the Division of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He has been affiliated with UTSW since 1987, where he developed the Heart Transplant Programs at St. Paul and Children’s Medical Center, later expanding to include lung transplantation. His clinical and research focus revolves around advanced cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures, including transplantation, congenital heart defects, valve repair, and complex coronary interventions.
