Steven Zane is an Assistant Professor at the College of Criminology & Criminal Justice, Florida State University. He holds a Ph.D. in Criminology from Northeastern University and a J.D. from Boston College Law School. His research focuses on juvenile justice, criminal law, and crime prevention, emphasizing systemic disparities and evidence-based policy. He serves on the National Policing Institute’s board of directors and has been recognized for his contributions to criminology literature.
