Professor Steven Vaughan serves as Dean of the Faculty of Law at Monash University, having joined on 2 January 2025. An internationally recognized legal scholar with 20 years of experience, he previously held leadership positions at University College London (UCL) including Professor of Law and Professional Ethics, Vice Dean (Strategy), and Deputy Dean. His career spans UK law schools at Cardiff University, University of Bristol, and University of Birmingham, along with industry experience as a corporate finance solicitor specializing in environmental law.
