Steven Pan

Steven Pan is an Assistant Professor at the National University of Singapore. He holds a Ph.D. and M.A. from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) and a B.A. from California State University, Los Angeles (CSULA). His research focuses on optimizing learning durability and flexibility through evidence-based techniques.

• Research Interests: Cognitive psychology, educational psychology, and learning sciences.
• Key Techniques: Prequestioning, retrieval practice, interleaving, and educational technologies.

His work employs laboratory experiments, classroom studies, and meta-analytic methods to build a 'toolbox' of learning strategies. He investigates how these techniques improve knowledge retention and application in novel contexts.
