Steven Leach

Steven Leach is a Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where he also serves as Associate Vice Chair of Clinical Operations. He holds the Irene Wadel and Robert Atha, Jr. Professorship of Internal Medicine and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

• Educational background: Bachelor's degree in psychology from Brigham Young University, medical degree from the University of Chicago, and a master's degree in management and administrative science from the University of Texas at Dallas.

His research focuses on the safety and efficacy of complementary and alternative medicines, with an emphasis on clinical operations and patient care. Dr. Leach has held administrative leadership roles, including Chief of Staff for Zale Lipshy Pavilion and Chief Medical Officer of University Hospital.
