Steven Kleinknecht is an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology at Western University, located in London, Ontario. He holds a PhD in Sociology from McMaster University. His research focuses on subcultures, technology’s role in everyday life, and qualitative methodologies. He has contributed to key texts such as Social Research Methods (2022) and edited volumes on ethnography and qualitative research. His work includes studies of hacker subcultures and cultural continuity among Old Order Mennonites.
