Dr. Antony Puddephatt is a Professor of Sociology at Lakehead University, with a research focus on social pragmatism, symbolic interactionism, and the sociology of science and technology. He holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from McMaster University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Science and Technology Studies at Cornell University.

His research explores the interplay between human-nonhuman relations, environmental sociology, and the institutional culture of academia.
