Dr. Steven Hussey is a Senior Mortlock Fellow in the School of Agriculture, Food and Wine at the University of Adelaide. His research focuses on plant molecular biology, specifically transcriptional and epigenomic regulation of wood development in Eucalyptus, secondary cell wall biology, and synthetic biology applications in plant systems. He holds an affiliate position at the University of Pretoria (since 2022) and a prestigious National Research Foundation (NRF) of South Africa rating (2020-2025).
