Steven H. Resnicoff is a Professor of Law and Director of the Center for Jewish Law & Judaic Studies at DePaul University College of Law. He has received numerous awards for teaching and scholarship, and previously chaired the Association of American Law Schools’ Section on Jewish Law and the Jewish Law Association’s executive board.

- Rabbinic ordination from Rabbi Moshe Feinstein
His research focuses on the interplay between Jewish and secular legal systems, with expertise spanning bankruptcy, bioethics, contracts, legal profession, and commercial paper. He also teaches as an adjunct professor in the doctoral program at the Spertus Institute for Jewish Leadership and Learning.
At DePaul, he directs the Center for Jewish Law & Judaic Studies and teaches courses in Bankruptcy, Bioethics & the Law, Contracts, Jewish Law, Legal Profession, and Negotiable Instruments. His scholarly work emphasizes comparative legal analysis and ethical frameworks in professional responsibility.
