Steven G. Brint is a Distinguished Professor of Sociology and Public Policy at the University of California, Riverside. As Director of the Colleges & Universities 2000 Project and Principal Researcher in the SERU Consortium, he focuses on organizational sociology, higher education systems, and professional structures.
