Steve Tucker

Professor Steve Tucker is a Professor of Pharmacology Education and Dean for Quality Assurance & Enhancement at the University of Aberdeen. He holds a Personal Chair and is affiliated with the School of Medicine, Medical Sciences and Nutrition. His roles include leading the Enhancement Theme, serving on academic committees, and external examining for institutions like Newcastle University and Swansea University.

Education: BSc (1st class honours) in Biomedical Sciences (2000), PhD in Biomedical Sciences (2004), both from the University of Aberdeen. Postdoctoral research focused on liver fibrosis, leukemia therapies, and neuronal growth cone imaging before transitioning to teaching roles in 2008.
