Steve Mattox is a Professor of Geology at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan, where he has made significant contributions to Earth Science education and teacher preparation. His work bridges content knowledge and pedagogy through innovative curriculum development and professional service with the National Association of Geoscience Teachers.
His research interests span Geology, Earth Science Education, Geology of Michigan, Volcanology, and Natural Disasters.
