- M.A. in United States Foreign Policy
- M.A. in Social Science Research
Mr. Dunne's research explores the intersection of economic security and U.S. foreign policy since the Cold War, examining how strategic narratives shape policy under different administrations. His work integrates concepts from security studies, political communication, and sociolinguistics to analyze the role of everyday narratives and popular culture in politics. He is particularly interested in the ontological security narratives that drive American foreign policy decisions.
His recent publications and presentations demonstrate a consistent focus on strategic narratives, with increasing attention to contemporary issues such as the wars in Ukraine and Israel, and the influence of media and Hollywood on political leadership. His work bridges theoretical frameworks with empirical analysis of U.S. foreign policy across multiple presidential administrations.
