Dr. Steve Davis is a Professor at the West Virginia University School of Public Health's Department of Health Policy, Management, and Leadership, as well as an Adjunct Professor in the West Virginia University School of Medicine's Department of Emergency Medicine. With over 15 years of experience conducting emergency department research, his work focuses on stroke awareness, national trends in hospitalizations, and the ethical conduct of pharmaceutical research. He also examines how paraphernalia laws and policing behaviors affect syringe access programs for hepatitis C virus prevention in rural Appalachian populations.
