Emily Chilko

Emily Chilko is an Adjunct Professor at the West Virginia University School of Social Work, where she teaches courses on substance use disorder, direct practice, and social justice. She also contributes to undergraduate education in the Addiction Studies minor within the WVU College of Education and Human Services. As a licensed clinical social worker (LICSW) and Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (AADC), she has worked in diverse clinical roles at WVU Medicine since 2013, including addiction therapy for adolescents, family interventions, and telemedicine outreach in rural West Virginia regions.
