Steve Coy is an Associate Professor of Graphic Design at Lawrence Technological University. He holds a BFA from the University of Michigan (2001) and an MFA from the University of Hawaii (2007). Coy is a multidisciplinary artist, designer, entrepreneur, and co-founder of Detroit-based ArtClvb. His work integrates public art, technology, installation, and video, resulting in internationally exhibited projects across Beijing, Berlin, London, Sydney, Melbourne, and Miami.
His research focuses on interdisciplinary intersections between digital media, public space, and artistic expression, with features in prominent publications including The New Yorker, The New York Times, Rolling Stone, USA Today, The Economist, Juxtapoz, and HuffPost.
