Steve Bates

Steve Bates is an Assistant Professor at the School of Nursing & Healthcare Leadership within the Faculty of Health Studies at the University of Bradford. He is a registered Mental Health Nurse and lecturer with a focus on integrating clinical practice and education. His research interests encompass therapeutic interventions, mental health recovery, and disability-related aspects of mental health care.

Current work includes a paper in progress exploring Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in undergraduate Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) training programs, as well as collaborative efforts to enhance mental health recovery education for student nurses.
