Professor Stephen Westland is the Chair of Colour Science and Technology at the University of Leeds' School of Design. He holds adjunct and visiting positions at institutions including the University of Texas and Huazhong University of Science and Technology. His expertise spans color science, machine learning, and lighting effects on human performance. He has authored influential books like Computational Colour Science using MATLAB and led over 38 PhD completions.
