Stephen Ruszczyk

Stephen Ruszczyk is Associate Professor of Sociology at Montclair State University, specializing in immigration studies, urban sociology, and youth development. His comparative research examines undocumented youth experiences in New York City and Paris, with current projects on climate change futures and student experiences in immigrant households.

Education:
PhD in Sociology from City University of New York.

Four active projects: 1) Longitudinal ethnography comparing undocumented youth in NYC/Paris; 2) Fulbright-funded study of youth futures under climate change (US/Ecuador); 3) Building superintendent roles in housing production; 4) College student experiences in immigrant households.
