Stephen O'Rahilly is a Professor of Clinical Biochemistry and Medicine at the University of Cambridge. He serves as Director of the MRC Metabolic Diseases Unit, Co-Director of the Wellcome-MRC Institute of Metabolic Science, and Associate Faculty Member at the Wellcome Sanger Institute. His research focuses on molecular mechanisms underlying obesity, insulin resistance, and Type 2 diabetes.
