Stephen Jones

Stephen Jones is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Chemistry at The Citadel's Swain Family School of Science and Mathematics. With expertise spanning inorganic, organic and organometallic synthesis and characterization, he teaches chemistry while maintaining active research in computational chemistry and analytical instrumentation.

His professional background includes positions at NIST Hollings Marine Laboratory, the United States Navy, and industry roles at Sigma Chemical. He holds an M.S. in Inorganic Chemistry from University of Massachusetts and B.S. in Chemistry and Naval Science from US Naval Academy.
