Stephen J. Thompson

Stephen J. Thompson, MD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics with a secondary appointment in Neurology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He serves as Medical Director of the Division of Pediatric Neurology. Dr. Thompson joined the institution two years ago, following 13 years as Section Chief of Pediatric Neurology and Director of the Neuro-Oncology Program at Hackensack University Medical Center. His career includes prior roles at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and leadership in summer medical programs.
