Stephen Holmes

Stephen Holmes is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at the University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL) since 2008. He holds a B.S. from Texas State University (1992) and a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (1999). His research focuses on designing magnetic, optical, and electronic materials using synthetic and spectroscopic techniques. Notable contributions include cyanide-bridged clusters and molecule-based magnets, supported by an NSF CAREER Award (2007–2012).
