Oleg Reu is an Associate Professor and Leading Scientific Researcher at the Laboratory of Physics of Semiconductor Compounds „Sergiu Radauțan” within the Institute of Applied Physics of Moldova. His research focuses on the electronic and magnetic properties of transition metal complexes, particularly spin transition mechanisms, cooperative effects in molecular clusters, and the design of novel functional materials. He has contributed to studies on spin crossover in Fe(II) and Co(II) complexes, charge transfer phenomena in cyanide-bridged clusters, and the development of single-molecule magnets (SMMs) with tailored magnetic properties.
