Stephen Gary is an Associate Professor of Instruction at the University of South Florida's School of Information within the College of Arts & Sciences. He specializes in Cyber Intelligence and teaches in cybersecurity and intelligence programs. As Internship Coordinator, he supports student transitions into the workforce and leads initiatives like the Veterans' Cybersecurity and Intelligence Seminar.

He contributed to grants totaling over $1.1 million, including NSA-funded scholarship programs for military reservists. As a former Air Force Intelligence Officer (1997–2014), he brings extensive operational experience to academia.
Leadership roles include Tampa Chapter President of the Military Cyber Professionals Association and membership in organizations like IAFIE and AFCEA.
