Dr. Megan Munoz is an adjunct professor at Capitol Technology University's Intelligence and Security Studies department and serves as Director of Education and Knowledge Management at the Hetherington Group. With 17+ years in intelligence analysis, she specializes in homeland security, counterterrorism, and curriculum development. She holds a Doctor of Education (EdD) from the University of Southern California and an MS in International Security from Bellevue University.
Her research focuses on domestic terrorism, radicalization dynamics, and critical infrastructure protection. She has authored over 10 research publications analyzing threats to energy sectors, white supremacist movements, and HVEs. Dr. Munoz maintains active roles in professional organizations including IAFIE and the Military Intelligence Corps Association.
In her training role, she develops programs for federal/state agencies and private industries, emphasizing cyber investigations and intelligence tradecraft. Her professional service includes Air Force Reserve duty and guest lectures at major conferences.
