معرفی
Stephen E. Russek is a Researcher at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in Boulder, CO, since 1992. He co-directs the MRI Biomarker Measurement Service and leads the Imaging Physics Project within the Magnetic Imaging Group. Previously, he held a National Research Council Postdoctoral Fellowship at NIST (1990–1992) and was a Graduate Research Assistant at Cornell University (1983–1989).
- Education
- Ph.D., Applied and Engineering Physics/Physics, Cornell University, 1990
- M.S., Physics, Cornell University, 1985
- A.B., Physics, Harvard University, 1980
Russek’s research spans spintronics, superconducting devices, neuromorphic technology, and quantitative medical imaging, with a focus on MRI phantoms, SI-traceable calibration, and nanomagnetic contrast agents. His work integrates hybrid spintronic-superconducting systems for advanced imaging and neuromorphic applications.
