Stephen C. Lattanzi, MD is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine (Medical Oncology) at Yale Cancer Center and Yale School of Medicine. He provides patient care at the Smilow Cancer Hospital Care Center in Waterford, Connecticut, having returned to southeastern Connecticut after practicing there for nearly two decades until July 2016.
Dr. Lattanzi specializes in the comprehensive care of patients with all malignancies, with particular expertise in malignant and benign hematological disorders and gastrointestinal cancers. His clinical practice demonstrates a strong commitment to serving underserved populations, ensuring equitable access to cancer care. As part of Yale Cancer Center, he collaborates with colleagues including Drs. Jane Kanowitz, Benjamin Newton, and Jason Haldas at the Waterford facility.
Dr. Lattanzi is actively involved in multiple clinical trials across various cancer types, contributing to research in lymphoma, prostate cancer, lung cancer, and pancreatic cancer.
