Adam Boruchov is the Medical Director of the Smilow Cancer Hospital Care Center at Saint Francis in Hartford, CT, and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Yale School of Medicine. He holds affiliations with Yale Cancer Center and the Department of Internal Medicine. His clinical expertise focuses on leukemia, lymphoma, bone marrow disorders, and hematologic malignancies.
Dr. Boruchov received his MD from the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center (1997). He completed residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital (2000) and a Hematology and Oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (2004).
His research interests revolve around advancing targeted therapies for blood cancers. He actively participates in clinical trials addressing relapsed/refractory lymphomas and myeloma, such as a Phase 2 trial of Pembrolizumab and Brentuximab Vedotin for T-cell lymphoma, and a trial exploring azacytidine combinations for peripheral T-cell lymphoma. He also investigates combinations of Belantamab Mafodotin and Elotuzumab in multiple myeloma, demonstrating commitment to translational research.
Dr. Boruchov has been recognized as a “Best Doctor” by CT Magazine in 2020 and 2019. His professional contributions include leadership in clinical care and trial execution, with roles as Sub Investigator in multiple ongoing studies. He oversees multidisciplinary teams at Smilow Cancer Hospital and collaborates with Yale’s Cancer Center initiatives to improve patient outcomes through evidence-based medicine.
