Stephen Buckman is an Associate Professor of Real Estate Development at Clemson University’s Nieri Family Department of Construction, Development, and Planning. He holds a PhD in Geography from Arizona State University and has held academic roles at the University of South Florida and University of Michigan. His research focuses on resilient urban development, public-private partnerships, and equity in built environments, with emphasis on climate adaptation and disaster resilience.
